Ehhhdodge?

Right now self buffed in bear I'm at 25k health, ~26k armor, and the previously mentioned 30 dodge. That's still with mostly level 70 epics. The upgrades are coming faster now, however, and with those will likely come a drop in my dodge...the lowest it can currently go appears to be down to 27 if I dropped my dodge rating altogether. Reviewing gear options going forward, I'm not seeing a whole lot that would contribute more to my dodge percent. If we're talking about a goal of 40 dodge at some point in WotLK, that works out to an additional 400 dodge rating (give or take) and with the exception of accessories, there is almost no dodge rating on gear at all. The only option for more dodge will come from gems/enchants, and even then it'll be an enormous stretch.-In Soviet Eorzea, Beehive Chips sell YOU!!
My ZAM Journal featuring my 2010 Custom PC Build BlogNaxx is entry-level raiding. If we could get 40+ Dodge for Naxx, where would we be by by the time we fight Arthas? 60? 70? Like Kara in TBC,I'd expect 30 dodge going into Naxx. Also, if you're a NE, the racial has changed from increased dodge to increased chance to be missed.I am still leveling but I recall a blue post stating Naxx is the new Kara.
Do you have enough health and armor for Naxx/heroics?
Did you have 40-50 dodge going into Kara?
Or are you spoiled by tBC end game gear?
-Day light savings is for fools.
Reviewing gear to get ready for Naxx/heroics, I notice one thing missing...dodge rating. Right now my bear has ~30 dodge...just over 3 of that is coming from just over 120 dodge (very roughly) 40 dodge rating = 1 dodge. Except...I can't see how a feral could possibly stack enough dodge to reach previous avoidance stats.
Is it no longer quite so necessary to be able to reach 40-50 dodge, or have I missed something big?
